While Kath and Julian have owned and operated the practice since 1993, we are pleased to expand our scope of practice, welcoming George Yacoub to the Optometry team. George will be familiar to many of our patients already, as he has worked for us since 2019 as part of the front desk team, whilst he completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Melbourne. A born and bred Coburg local, George is therapeutically qualified, which means he is able to prescribe atropine for myopia control, antibiotics for eye infections, and other Rx-only medications to manage ongoing eye conditions.
Our current timetable sees Julian working Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and every second Saturday. George is available every day except Mondays, and Kath works Wednesdays Thursdays and alternate Saturdays.
